Bandsaw services available. My equipment can cut up to a 16'4" length, and 36" width. We can cut from all types of quality straight timber. Our machine averages 300-500 board feet per hour.
PLEASE NOTE: If your logs have metal, nails or other foreign objects that damage the blade there will be an extra charge for the damage ($9 to resharpen the blade or $30 if blade is destroyed)
Band Saw-Mill
My mill is an Oscar 36 made by Hud-Son Forest Equipment.
This mill is capable of cutting up to 16 ft and 4 inches in length. It can cut up to a 36 inch diameter log but 30 inch and smaller logs are much easier to work with. Current sawing rate is $65/hour. This includes sawing and tractor to unload logs/load lumber. If the customer provides help to turn logs and drag slabs production per hour will increase.
Frick Circular Saw-Mill
Here is a picture of the Frick Circular Sawmill I own. It is powered by a 371 Detroit Diesel Engine. With a good log I can cut up to a 25 foot long beam or board. The mill can handle logs up to a 36 inch diameter.
