We frequently get e mails and phone calls asking for products and services that CS Farm is not providing. We also get several requests for local referals and businesses we use. I have compiled a list of personal experiences I have had. I make no guarantees that your experience will be like mine but maybe my past experiences, both good and bad, will help you make better decisions with your opperation.
We do not use Timbercreek Vet (Tom Schell) in Jonesville,NC. Highly overpriced, poor quality care from him once, never again. If he can't do a several thousand dollar surgery on your horse, his only option is to put it down. Talk to some of his former employees as well as former customers if you don't believe me.
We use Murray McMurray hatchery for most of our replacement brood stock in our chickens. Consistantly had excellent quality birds and superior customer service. They have the widest selection of breeds I know of anywhere. A+ business to deal with. I have also used Marti Poultry birds in the past with good results. Ordered some chicks from Mt Healthy Hatchery in 2011. 100% live arrival. Very pleased with them as well. We will never order from Cackle Hatchery again. Ordered 100 Blue Slate turkeys from them a few years back. They sent 102 and some were dead on arrival with several sick. I made numerous phone calls to the hatchery and all but one of the 102 turkeys died. After several phone calls and e mails they would do nothing about the problem. With cost of birds, shipping and medication I ended up with close to $500 in one turkey. Buyers beware, Cackle Hatchery took advantage of me! |
